The ability to walk as a natural movement is the simplest and least injurious form of keeping fit - especially in old age.
We invite all people who walk with poles and want to learn proper walking mechanics to take advantage of the experience of our trainer or enjoy the seaside atmosphere on their own. Nordic Walking – a form of recreation involving marches with special poles. People practicing Nordick Walking engage their body muscles to a greater extent, which leads to their greater strengthening. Correctly conducted Nordick Walking training improves the respiratory and cardiovascular systems and increases oxygen consumption depending on the intensity of sticking the poles. While walking, the strength and endurance of the arms develops, the stability of the body increases and the joints are relieved, which is important in older people. Compared to regular walking, a person practicing Nordic Walking burns on average 20 to 40% more calories.
