Kinesiotaping

relief for muscles
Kinesiotaping is a highly effective, non-invasive method in rehabilitation, especially in sports rehabilitation. It involves taping selected parts of the body with plasters of high elasticity and waterproof structure, which support the process of healing pain related to muscles, ligaments and tendons. The plasters are well tolerated by the skin, allowing full comfort of wearing and normal daily functioning, and the improvement effect is noticeable soon after application.
The therapy is used to treat: painful conditions of the spine and joints (shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee and ankle joints), post-traumatic and overloaded conditions of muscles and joints in sports physiotherapy, in the correction of children and adults posture defects, anti-edema treatment of neurological patients (nerve palsy, spasticity, flaccidity)

Massages

medicinal
Classical massage - involves the direct application of mechanical stimuli to the skin, subcutaneous tissue and muscles. It is performed, depending on the indications, with various movements or strokes of one or both hands. It improves circulation, increases the elasticity of tissues, has a relaxing, analgesic effect, increases the flow of venous blood to the heart and improves the lymphatic circulation.
Therapeutic back massage is recommended for chronic pain, but also for sudden injuries. The therapeutic massage can be used similarly to the classic massage for degeneration of the spine, joints and soft tissues. However, it cannot be used in the case of acute inflammation of tissues and organs requiring surgery, any infections with fever, tumour diseases, haemorrhages or bleeding, or for persons who are at risk of these, and pregnant women. Therapeutic foot massage is recommended for people suffering not only from foot pain, but also from: sciatica, arthritis, insomnia and migraines. A foot massage with reflexology elements involves pressure on the reflex zones, thereby stimulating the body to heal itself. The therapy is not only therapeutic but also relaxing, but should not be given to people with osteoporosis, diabetes, foot ulcers and varicose veins. Vibration massage- a massage with a device that reduces muscle pain, prevents and eliminates adhesions and improves muscle condition and prevents injuries. Ideal for active people to accelerate muscle recovery. The advantage of vibration massage is that it releases muscle tension and helps soothe pain.

Balneology

health through nature
Balneology, or more precisely balneological treatment, involves the use of natural medicinal raw materials in the process of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
Underwater massage - is a procedure in which the whole body (except for the heart and head area) is massaged with water jets at a pressure of 3 - 4 ATM from a hose with a suitable nozzle. It is suitable for diseases of the musculoskeletal system, peripheral circulatory and metabolic disorders, neuralgia, and states of mental exhaustion. Pearl bath - a variation of water massage. The gas bubbles are applied to the skin, exerting a gentle effect on its receptors. They have a calming effect on the nervous system, as well as a light sleep-inducing effect. The bath is recommended for all kinds of neuroses or general weakness, etc. Mud suspension bath*- serves the biological renewal of the organism. Its main purpose is to overheat the tissues in such a way as to regenerate them by nourishing and oxygenating them, to improve their metabolism and to speed up the excretion of toxic substances from the cell metabolism. During the bath, deacidification processes with anti-inflammatory properties are very important and significant, especially for people active in sports. Karnalite Salt Bath - The crystalline Karnalite bath salt from the Dead Sea has great healing properties just like a salt bath. This hot mineral bath will create a pleasant luxurious experience for body and spirit. Bathing in salt with minerals relaxes muscles, relieves ailments and removes fatigue. Dead Sea minerals are known for their beneficial effects in the treatment of psoriasis, eczema and other skin problems. The result is healthy and soft skin. After bathing, the whole body gains a rejuvenating feeling of relaxation. These special salts crystallised from the waters of the Dead Sea through its evaporation process and therefore contain a combination of magnesium, calcium, potassium and many beneficial minerals. Bathing in Dead Sea salt cleanses the skin and expels harmful substances from the skin. We recommend the use of Dead Sea salt in case of: acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, arthritis, cough; Magnesium sulphate bath - a magnesium sulphate bath will help with rheumatic pains and arthritis. The bath also has a relaxing effect, strengthens the body and helps with stress and fatigue. A bath in magnesium sulphate solution works best before bedtime. The high magnesium content has a calming effect on the nervous system, soothes and facilitates falling asleep. A salt bath with magnesium sulphate will also regenerate the body well after physical exertion, as the trace elements contained in it support the muscles and remove fatigue. The effect of the trace elements contained in magnesium sulphate lasts for up to 10 hours after bathing. The sulphur contained in magnesium sulphate has antibacterial and antifungal effects and cleanses the body of toxic heavy metals. Bathing with this chemical will benefit the body in cases of skin inflammation, bruises, swelling and bone and joint pain. Bathing in magnesium sulphate solution also improves the function of the circulatory system - it lowers blood pressure and supports the work of the heart. Magnesium sulphate has a softening effect on calluses, which is why bathing in its solution is recommended for problems with calluses and hard, cracked skin on the heels and hard cuticles at the nails. Magnesium sulphate is added to many cosmetics, especially those for acne-prone and seborrhoeic-prone skin. Shampoos with added magnesium sulphate Therapeutic mud wrappings* - the therapeutic mechanism of mud consists in thermal and mechanical effects resulting from pressure of the mud mass on the skin and effects of chemical compounds contained in it. Therapeutic mud wrappings are particularly useful in the treatment of inflammatory conditions of joints and soft tissues, diseases of the locomotor and circulatory system in the limbs, spinal disorders. They overheat the tissue, thus relaxing, relieving and even eliminating pain. They also have a bactericidal, bacteriostatic, astringent and anti-inflammatory effect on the tissue, increase the absorption of exudates, influence the secretion of hormones, and have a positive effect on the tissue. Pool gymnastics - is a general physical exercise, one of the most important elements of the rehabilitation of patients with osteoarthritis of the spine and limb joints. The aim of the gymnastics is to improve the range of movement in the joints, strengthen muscle strength and increase overall physical fitness of the body, improve circulation, maintain good function of the respiratory and nervous systems, with emphasis on prevention and correction of posture defects, promotes the development of fitness, flexibility, elasticity. It is used in the treatment of muscular atrophy, hypertension, back pain, elderly patients, rheumatoid diseases. * medical consultation required

Electrotherapy

electric treatment
It is a branch of physical therapy in which direct current, modulated medium-frequency currents and low- and medium-frequency pulsed currents are used for therapeutic purposes. The therapeutic effect of the current is aimed at relieving pain by improving the nutrition and blood supply to the stimulated tissues, increasing the absorption of oedemas and exudates, thus accelerating tissue regeneration processes.
Diadynamic currents (DD) - also known as Bernard currents. They are divided into several types, differing in frequency and intensity of alternating current. They improve blood circulation and tissue nutrition, reduce oedema and, depending on the current used, cause an increase or decrease in muscle tension. Indications: spinal pain syndromes, rheumatic diseases, neuralgia, post-traumatic conditions, muscular atrophy, hemiplegia, post-traumatic oedema, frostbite. Contraindications: implanted pacemakers, purulent skin lesions, acute inflammations in the treatment area, tumour diseases, haemorrhages, febrile states. Interference currents (Nemec) - these are medium frequency currents modulated in amplitude with low frequency. Through the rhythmically changing frequency, they act on skeletal muscle contractions, stimulate muscles to contract (improve peripheral circulation), have an analgesic effect, improve tissue nutrition processes and metabolism. Indications: pain syndromes, oedema, incontinence, disorders of superficial and deep circulation, osteoarthritis, sciatica, shoulder pain, intercostal neuralgia. Contraindications: implanted pacemaker, purulent skin lesions, acute inflammations in the area of application of the treatment, tumour diseases, bleeding, haemorrhages, febrile states. Tens - transcutaneous nerve stimulation with low-frequency currents. TENS electrostimulation is a clinically proven, non-invasive, non-pharmacological pain relief therapy. It is widely used for the relief of both chronic and acute pain. Indications: post-operative pain, discitis, headaches, pain in rheumatic diseases, neuropathies, skin ulcers, wounds, swellings. Contraindications: implanted pacemaker, severe arrhythmia, epilepsy, cancer, pregnancy, acute inflammation in the treatment area, purulent skin lesions. Trebert currents- this is an ultra-stimulus current with a strong analgesic effect. It induces a strong muscular tremor, the effect of which is muscle relaxation. This treatment is also called stimulus current massage. Thanks to the action of Trebert currents on the nervous system, an improvement in blood supply and tissue nutrition is obtained by means of reflexes, also in cases of disorders of peripheral circulation. The procedure is used in the treatment of: neuralgia, ischaemic syndromes of the limbs, support in the treatment of wounds that are difficult to heal. Inhalation* - is a method of preventing and assisting in the treatment of many respiratory tract conditions, which involves inhaling a diluted brine (oil or medicine) sprayed as an aerosol. Inhalation of the aerosol moistens the airways, dilutes the mucus and allows easier expectoration and normalises the secretory function of the mucous membrane. It also boosts the immune forces of the mucous membranes. The use of inhalation is indicated for diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract. Phototherapy with the Sollux lamp - i.e. treatment by irradiation stimulates the body to function properly by stimulating metabolism, stimulating cell regeneration, improving blood circulation and strengthening the immune system. The use of the Sollux lamp is particularly recommended for wounds that are difficult to heal, sinusitis, bedsores, scars or facial nerve paralysis - in this case we use a red filter. For frostbite, psoriasis, sciatica or neuralgia. * medical consultation required

Rehabilitation

motor
Physical rehabilitation is most commonly used for diseases and dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal system, pain syndromes of the spine, after strokes, certain respiratory diseases, rheumatoid diseases and other conditions. Its primary goal is to improve the quality and quantity of movement. The use of various methods of movement therapy makes it possible to achieve maximum improvement of lost functions, compensate for existing dysfunctions and counteract secondary changes in the musculoskeletal system in the form of mobility restrictions.
Manual therapy - is a specialisation in the field of physiotherapy that deals with the manual examination and treatment of patients with disorders of the musculoskeletal system (nervous, musculo-fascial and skeletal systems), the cause of which may be an abnormal joint function, shrunken joint capsule, compressed nerve, excessively tense or shortened muscle, stretched ligament. Depending on the cause of the problem, the therapist selects the appropriate treatment technique. Cardio instrumental gymnastics - Cardio training on a treadmill or stationary bike. A well structured workout engages all muscle groups. It contributes to strengthening the cardiovascular muscle and improving overall fitness. Nordic Walking - a form of recreation involving walking with special sticks. People practising Nordick Walking engage body muscles to a greater extent, which leads to their greater strengthening. Properly conducted Nordick Walking training improves the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, increases the oxygen uptake depending on the intensity of stick driving. Walking develops arm strength and endurance, increases body stability and relieves stress on joints, which is important for older people. Compared to normal walking, practising Nordic Walking burns on average 20 to 40% more calories. Pilates - the purpose of Pilates exercises is to develop the body in harmony, improve incorrect posture, restore physical vitality and stimulate the mind: this is undoubtedly a commendable approach. Pilates allows us to strengthen the deep muscles responsible for our posture. The deep muscles are the central muscles, located between the ribs and the pelvis and surrounding the spine (abdominal muscles, pelvic floor muscles and back muscles). They form the energy centre of the body, allowing strength and stability to be enhanced. Pilates is also a discipline that enables you to increase your awareness of your own body, its strength and limitations, so that you can use this body better. Aqua Aerobik- Aqua aerobics is a safe and attractive form of physical activity for those wishing to improve cardiorespiratory fitness, increase muscle strength and endurance and lose weight. During an hour-long aqua aerobics training session, an average of 400-500 kcal is burnt, which can be compared to running a distance of 1.5 km. In addition, aqua fitness increases the release of endorphins, improving mood and lowering stress levels. It is also worth remembering that the health benefits of aqua aerobics are a consequence of the positive effects of the water environment on the body. The blood supply to all tissues improves, blood vessels dilate and blood pressure decreases. Aqua aerobics also provides an excellent body massage, effectively reducing swelling in the lower limbs. To be effective, aqua aerobics must be practised regularly. Training should take place systematically three to five times a week and last between 20 and 60 minutes. Respiratory physiotherapy - classes are held in small groups, aiming at improving respiratory capacity, strengthening, and faster recovery from respiratory illnesses such as pneumonia, asthma, covid-19. If weather conditions are favourable, these classes can be held on the beach, where IOD is an additional aid to recovery. The classes also reduce stress and muscle tension.

Therapy

Individual
Manual therapy is an increasingly desirable method of work based on a comprehensive assessment of the patient's condition.
It is a multi-stage therapeutic process consisting of: a detailed and thorough interview, allowing an initial assessment of the complaints a comprehensive examination of the patient a diagnosis finally manual treatment The therapeutic procedure involves a differential examination, by means of which the physiotherapist is able to find the affected structures with a determination of their degree of damage and also analyse the mechanisms of the appearance of the condition. This structure of the physical examination determines the programme of treatment of the entire joint and ligament apparatus, periarticular structures as well as muscles and fascias. Manual therapy is a highly specialised form of physiotherapy based on the fundamentals of biomechanics and the functionality of the human musculoskeletal system. A therapist using targeted techniques of mobilisation, manipulation, muscle energisation, active soft tissue relaxation, trigger point therapy and massage is able to guide the therapy in the right way, leading to: Increasing range of motion; Reducing pain; Improving disrupted movement patterns; Eliminating soft tissue disorders such as adhesions, fusions, excessive muscle tension, muscle and connective tissue contractures; Achieving pain-free, symmetrical range of motion in the musculoskeletal system; Reducing or eliminating inflammation. We provide services within the scope of: pain in the spine in the course of overload and degenerative changes, pain and dizziness caused by dysfunctions of the cervical spine, pain in the muscles and joints resulting from restricted mobility, degenerative changes, pain syndromes such as painful shoulder syndrome, tennis elbow/golf elbow, vascular and nerve compression syndromes such as carpal tunnel, pain radiating to the upper limb or to the limb, pain in the muscles and joints resulting from reduced mobility. pain syndromes such as shoulder pain syndrome, tennis elbow, vascular and nerve compression syndromes such as carpal tunnel, pain radiating to upper or lower limbs in the course of sciatica, shoulder gout, trauma-related pain support for physiotherapy after orthopaedic surgery ligamentous disorders, muscle tension balance
